Who We Are
Our History
Achieve Foundation started out informally in 2005 as a group of university housemates in Forest Gate, East London, England, hosting weekly “digital support” sessions for friends and neighbours, on how to send emails and browse the internet, enabling them to keep in touch with loved ones, access online courses, and apply for jobs.
Over the years, we’ve harnessed the power of the internet to advance education of the public in digital skills and in information technology, especially among those who are excluded from society and who lack either access to online services or necessary digital skills .
While we have extended our network, scale, and range of services over time, our vision remains unchanged – A world where everyone benefits from information technology.
Our mission
Achieve Foundation is a digital inclusion charity, based in the United Kingdom, working in communities everywhere to help people thrive in a digital world.
Our charity’s purposes are for public benefit and are:
- to advance education of individuals and communities in digital skills and information technology
- to promote social inclusion among those who are excluded from society, or at risk of exclusion, and who lack access to online services or the necessary digital skills

Our Ops and Network team makes sure that we can deliver our ambitious aim and that we’re doing whatever we can to help our community partners to reach and support the hardest to reach in society.

Our Digital team manages the development of our online courses, learning platforms and websites.

Our Wellness and Service Optimisation team keep us on our toes and constantly remind us who’s really the boss
