We respect and protect the privacy of our users. This privacy policy tells you how we collect and use information.

Who we are

The Achieve Foundation (“We”, “Our”) understands that you are aware of and care about your own personal privacy interests, and we take that very seriously. This privacy statement describes our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal data and sets out your privacy rights. We recognise that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will from time to time update this Privacy Notice as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies.

Our website uses cookies to collect certain information automatically. These technologies help us better understand our users’ experience (eg how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like and so on). The information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, the region or general location where your computer or device is accessing the internet, browser type, operating system and other usage information about the use of our website, including a history of the pages you view. We use this information to help us design our site to better suit our users’ needs and experiences with user feedback. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Website, analyse trends, track visitor movements, and gather broad demographic information that assists us in identifying visitor preferences.

Please note that we may from time to time allow our Funding Partners to use cookies on our website for the purposes set out above.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or delete certain cookies. You may be able to manage other tracking technologies in the same way that you manage cookies using your browser’s preferences. If you do choose to refuse or delete cookies, please note that some elements of the Achieve Foundation digital platforms may not function as intended, so your experience on our websites could be affected.

Fundraising

Achieve Foundation engages the services of organisations, such as JustGiving and Crowdfunder to help us raise funds for our charitable purpose of bridging the digital divide. If you choose to donate to us through these platforms, please be aware, they may (if you opt-in to Gift Aid your donation and/or to receive communication from us) share with us details about your donations, including your personal data such as your name, email address and postal address. These organisations have their own privacy statements which we have reviewed and consider acceptable and we recommend you read them before sharing any information.

Third-Party Websites

Our websites may contain links to other websites and use external services to provide functionality for the website. Whilst we make every effort to make sure that external services have acceptable privacy policies, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and services. You are advised to adopt a policy of caution before clicking any external web links mentioned throughout this website.

We cannot guarantee or verify the contents of any externally linked website. You should therefore note you click on external links at your own risk and this website and its owners cannot be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any external links.
